Garage Attic is the sound of a city building itself from the inside out. Gritty, melodic, and unapologetically alive, the band blurs the line between basement-born punk energy and expansive, modern indie rock music made for sweat-filled rooms, open streets, and moments that feel bigger than the place they happen in. Which sometimes includes David of Vancerts.

As BYOB Austin’s house band, Garage Attic isn’t just playing shows. They’re anchoring a movement. Night after night, they help turn reclaimed spaces into living rooms for the city, soundtracking a community built on creativity, inclusion, and doing things differently. Because everyone in the band is Multi-Instrumental. Their performances feel less like concerts and more like shared experiences. Where the crowd isn’t watching, they’re part of it. It’s a band that can play all the hits or write a set, special just for your party. All the great stuff you forgot you left up there in the attic that makes the party worth staying!

Currently managed by VANCERTS, Garage Attic has become a cornerstone of BYOB Austin’s Standard Operations. Whether they’re tearing into a pop-up street set with Vancerts, headlining Texas Pumpkin Fest, or holding down a residency-style crowd at BYOB Austin, the band brings urgency, honesty, and heart to everything they are a part of.

Garage Attic is proof that the future of live music isn’t polished or predictable. It’s loud, local, human, and happening right now.

A man with a green mohawk hairstyle, cigarette in mouth, playing an electric guitar, standing in a rustic setting with string lights and car rims on the wall.
A man with long curly hair and a mustache, wearing a patterned shirt and brown corduroy pants, is sitting and playing drums while smoking a cigarette in a dimly lit, rustic setting with a wire mesh on the wall behind him.
A man with a long beard and glasses wearing a black cap and T-shirt, giving a thumbs up while sitting at a table with a DJ mixer. The man is smiling and wearing dark sunglasses. The setting appears to be outdoors against a stone wall. There are beer bottles, a phone, and audio equipment on the table.

The man on the right has short hair, a beard, and is wearing white sunglasses and a graphic T-shirt.
