Live at Sunny’s Backyard: Meshed Up Mondays
On behalf of Matt Meshbane, an esteemed musician and music industry legend in our community. Unfortunately, Matt recently experienced a health setback in the form of a stroke. However, in the face of adversity, Matt is determined to turn this challenge into an opportunity to give back to our community. He is eager to organize a series of performances to raise funds for a few local charities, leveraging his mark in the community to make a positive impact. Recognizing the invaluable support he has received from local businesses over the years, Matt is committed to reciprocating this kindness.
One of the primary beneficiaries of this fundraising effort will be the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM). A portion of the proceeds from each event will be dedicated to supporting HAAM's mission, with the ultimate goal of securing much-needed healthcare for Matt and contributing to the well-being of our vibrant music community. We believe that hosting these performances on behalf of Matt at your venue would not only provide an exceptional entertainment experience for your patrons but also serve as a meaningful opportunity to support a worthy cause. Please let us know if you would be interested in discussing further details or arranging a meeting to explore this potential collaboration. We are currently confirmed with (Hole in the Wall, Sagebrush, Vinyl beauty bar, Sunny's Backyard & Kick Butt Coffee) in May, June, July, and August (13 dates so far).

Kazi 88.7FM at Reggae Fest
TABLE SET UP w/ KAZI 88.7FM Radio.
The Austin reggae community converged for the first time on May 7th 1994, at Auditorium Shores in downtown Austin, Texas to pay tribute to the late great Bob Marley.
In the spirit of Bob Marley the show was free but patrons were asked to bring two cans of non-perishable food to benefit the Capital Area Food Bank.
When the gates opened on that sunny Sunday morning, the organizers and food bank officials had set up a dozen barrels at the entrance for the donations.
Within a couple of hours of opening, the barrels were overflowing and a Uhaul was brought to the front gate to help collect and store an overwhelming amount of donations.
Austinites embraced this event from the beginning and it has only grown ever since then 🤍.
